I never thought I’d make it this far in a short amount of time, I may be a soulless wretch but, thank you. Really.

I guess I can tell you the true origins of Unavni: I have problems sleeping so I started a habit of telling myself bedtime stories from the perspective of a “Jay”, and one of stories was about a boy enrolled into a magical school even though he couldn’t do magic. The story was simple, but it helped me sleep. So, for a few weeks I expanded it as I fall asleep the boy then meets an ancient dragon who becomes the boy’s familiar and that's where I ended because I was bored with it like I always do. Then one day I was telling my future playtesters about it and when I was retelling it, it got interesting again. And one day I tried to make it into a visual novel just to see if I can but i changed a few details: The dragon split into Olivia (gender and role) and Alqokron (powerful dragon), Alice stayed... well the same, created Nat and Eevette, reused some of my “Meta Knights” characters and even let my playtesters get characters even though I don’t like ‘em. I was going to keep the story short and then shelf it in the old brain but after the positive, yet bumpy reception post demo (and the funny comments of f95zone) I decided to keep my word and really make a never-ending story so it can be another chapter in my multiverse.

Speaking of multiverse, soon we will have another “Jay”, I don’t know his whole deal but its on the back burner.
