No, this isn’t anything Minecraft, I wanted to be clever... 

-Everything’s coming up Jay (me not the other one). My SubscribeStar page was approved, Itch nor Patreon gave me the boot, and after sifting through the hate mail and death threats (Hey fellow iFunniers) not only has Unavni gotten a small boost in downloads, but I got some pretty solid advice on how to make the next big update look better, somewhat... 

-I’m still experimenting with shadows and lighting but the pic above is one of the ones I'm most comfortable with so far. I’ll keep experimenting even if I have to delay the next big update, it’s just me in this fallout shelter I call the office, I have no other AVN devs to click with like the big kids, only frames of reference, and an eye for detail. 

-Am I going back to re-render the old scenes? “Hells no.”(-Jay) As I wanna make Unavni a timeline of my growth. I thought it’ll be easy teaching myself ren’py by going Doc Frankenstein on other’s code, making characters with personality, and then taking pretty pretty pictures... boy was I wrong. At least storytelling and writing comes naturally to me. 

Now to address the migraine in the room: AF℞ 

-I haven’t done much with it, not even researching lighting, mainly due to me being on a lil break till Sunday at the earliest. My new GPU is in transit to replace my ~5-year-old 1660 super. Once I’m back from my break I'll continue learning everything I can. And experimenting with some things there... Y'know despite my initial detesting of AVNs using hs2 here I am jumping through hoops, and spending cash I don’t have trying to make one, all because two grew on me. You should also note that even though AF℞ requires more effort, resources and might “look better” doesn’t mean Unavni will take a back seat... ever. The tone is slightly more serious, but it will still have that patent pending “MKJ Laughing through the pain” style so there won’t be much of a shock when enjoying both.
